The Photo Special!

Alrite Blog readers!

Bit of a photo special for this post. Ive got some shots of the 4X in action at the SDA and a couple of the trials comp that was on today (Sunday 8th).

This time while Phil was up I made sure he took all my tools back down to the shed. He managed to find a rake, a brush and a sledge hammer that he had left up beside the 4x from his visit last year.

Really interesting watching them all hip hopping about on there crazy looking wee bikes. I tell you if I could bunny hop half as high as these guys I would be well happy! There wasquite a big field of riders from 7years old and up!

This is from a while back Donald and I shifted this big f88888r of a rock. To give you an idea of size the 2nd photo has my leatherman sitting on top of it I reckon it weighed at least ¼ of a tonne maybe more. It took both of us pushing against it like the first pic to get it to start to move. Then we got some big fence posts in and levered it out and sent it rolling down the hill into a ditch. Playing it safe I parked the barrow in the way just in case it went tumbling towards the gondola towers.

Donald was a bit tired after moving the rock so he had to have a wee lie down

The week the boss finally let me go hire a digger so I could go do a bit of reshaping of the jumps on the motorway. It was great sure beat the hell out of doing it by hand! I think Im getting quite good at driving it only knocked my power barrow over 3time filling it with dirt. Which reminds me I better go weld the handles back on to it.
